Since all the cool kids on my f-list are doing this right now, I decided to recast one of MY favourite shows with all non-white actors. And then I decided 'fuck it' and recast them all as non-white women, because frankly, there were too many dudes on this show.
I also decided to use only british actresses, for the sake of authenticity. Kind of sucked not being able to cast Zoe Saldana as Will or Gina Torres as Little John but I wanted actresses who could concievably be cast in the parts were the show to be re-shot here using all non-white women in the parts.
Also this is for the first two series only. Seriously, I REFUSE to acknowlegde the canonicity of anything after 2x11; Tuck, Kate, Isabella and *shudder* Archer aren't going to get look ins here, no siree.
...and now I kind of want to write THIS version of the show. Mostly because a love triangle involving Freema, Angel and Naoko would be hooooot (with a side order of Parminda pining after Freema in the background, please).
