Essay, essay, essay, essay, EAR INFECTION, essay, essay, essay...

Managed to knuckle down and write a few hundred words for my Biblical Studies essay today, which is a good sign. I'm hoping to have it finished on Wednesday, and then have the rest of the week plus the weekend to do my English Literature one. That could work, right?

Elsewhere, I'm worried Sammie has an ear infection. He's been doing this weird thing where he jams his cheek to the floor and shoves himself about with his hinde legs, like he's trying to itch it REALLY badly. Clearly, something with the ear is bothering him. I'm gonna make an oppointment to take him to the vet on Wednesday to get it checked out. There are no other obvious signs of a problem, so hopefully it's not too bad and can just be cleared up quickly with drops or something.

He did that when he was with me, but he generally only did it when excited and it looked more like he was scent marking than rubbing his ear on the floor. Dogs do have scent glands in their necks, don't they?

I've seen him do that as well and this is a different thing, plus he's scratching the ear a lot too. I think I'm gonna take him to the vet just to get it checked out, because I've been noticing it a lot lately and I just wanna make sure there's nothing bothering him.

OK, that's fair enough. Poor baby! Give him a smoosh from me!

don't worry - aside from scritching at his ear all the time, he seems perfectly fine, running round wanting to play with the bunnies and climbing onto the sofa to lick my ears. ^_^

There might be something in his ear, really deep down. That happens occasionally, which I find both fascinating and kind of creepy.

the best thing for Ear infection or swimmers ear is the eardoc. With the Eardoc there relay inst any problem. it is non invasive and it treats the problem, not the symptoms
